In today's environment, constant reports concerning cross contamination continually surface in the news. To address these constant concerns related to inefficent and inconsistent methods of instrument sterilization, the Triangle Company redefined the complete process of dental instrument sterilization with one goal in mind, stop cross-contamination.
In 1991, the first Stericenter was created for the dental profession through the development of intelligent products. Creation of the Stericenter was based on a comprehensive process called the "Triangle 11-step Instrument Recirculation Procedure," which was devised by Triangle as a result of scientific research on sterilization and infection control that is based on the CDC, OSHA and ADA recommendations. The Stericenter approach to sterilization is as follows:
- Protective Equipment
- Waste Management
- Ultrasonic Cleaning
- Corrosion Control
Our Stericenter instrument preparation center, also known as the dental office "glove," is centrally located to all of our treatment areas for staff convienence and for the ease of inspection by all of our patients. Since your health and safety is of our utmost importance, Thomas Family Dentistry was one of the first dental facilities in Oklahoma to implement this unique approach to instrument sterilization.
